Anne Shirly was not only my friend but everyone she mets freind, especially cats no cat would ever
need a home while Anne was there and could always be sure of food if they sat on her mat.
Anne although a very private person had an enormos amount of friends each one she treated as her
best friend making each one feel special managing to fit us all in to her busy life.
After retirment you could find her almost daily at the bus stop off to meet a friend for coffee,
chats, theater etc, she worked at Jessops for years as a window dresser and i belive it was one of
Jessops meetings for retired staff that was her last outing. She had no intention of leaving us her
diary was full for the next 6 months.
